RE: TENN.TEAM TOUR RESULTS 9/6

I kind of felt like a step child no one wanted. :( First I was going to go with Wiskers who was not feeling well. I tried a couple others but no one was free that could go or they were already going. I gave up and then saw Blazer's post that he was looking for a partner. :) Called him last night and we set it up. He wanted to take his boat so I showed up with my stuff but no boat. Poor ol' Blazer overslept and missed the Tx. I had a great time visiting and was giving it up to go back home when Damon and Eric hooked me up with PaulJ who told me his partner had to work at the last minute. I did not even have a life jacket so someone else loaned me one with PaulJ only having one in his boat. emoThumbsup Whoever that was thank you very much for the loan. emoGrouphug Is this a great bunch of guys or what. emoWorthy

Me and PaulJ hit it off, he is a very excitable person when it comes to bass fishing. We talked all day and the day flew by. I think he got more excited then I did when I caught that big bass. emoLaugh We boated about 15 bass today but only had five keepers. Two came off a spook, two on a 10 inch june bug worm and one on a pig and jig. The big bass was one of the ones off a worm. it hit in about 15 feet on an ol road bed where there was some rock. The rest of our bass came off the edges of grass with deep water close by.

Very good Tx Damon and thank you for putting it on. emoApplause It was great to see everyone and always good meeting new folks and making new friends.

C-ya on the water... emoAngler Jmax

Lance and I probably caught 50 bass today ( not kidding) , but only had about 4 keepers all day. We figured out the pattern for slicks early and kept it going pretty much all day long. All fish with an exception of maybe 5 came on a spook. Just couldn't get bit on anything else. It was really a tough day for good fish ( for us at least).
Thanks again Damon!

Just happened to pass by, open tourny, jumped in..........Did not finish well, did have a lot of blowups on frog, just could not get hooked up. seemed like they would try to kill froggy and not do the big gulp. Had 1 of flippin brush hog and other was on frog. Weigh in was one of best procedures I have seen @ local clubs. We will be back, enjoyed the group. emoUSA emoUSA emoThanks

Congrats JMAX ! emoThumbsup That was a good bag for an unwanted step child on Nickajack Saturday. I bet Blazer gets a new alarm clock. emoBigsmile
