All you Tennessee fans please keep this in mind about me when you read something I have posted about The Vols. Its all in good fun. I am on here to make friends and gain valuable fishing knowledge, not to make anyone mad or act like I am trying to start something. If ever for a minute I make someone mad then I sincerly apologize for doing so. Its know secret to anyone that knows me I am not a Tennessee fan and never will be. Yeah I catch alot of grief for being a Kentucky fan from friends and family, but its all in good fun.

This is the fun of college football. Every fan has there turn to be laughed to scorn if there team has ever enjoyed any succes, it just happens to be UT & AU's turn. and all apologizes will be excepted with open arms IF these teams ever win again.

I'm a Bama fan and we have had our turn and I'm sure we will have it again.(But not while coach Saban is in t-town)

The best line I have heard from a UT fan is:
AT LEAST WE AIN'T AU.

No worries UK, we were just messing around... its all of our way showing our depression because football season is 8 months and 26 days away :(

It may sound serious from time to time, but it is all in good fun. This has been going on for the past 50 years that I have been a college football fan.

What isn't so funny is when fans from any school goes to a football game at their opponents field and get batteries/beer/rocks, etc thrown at them and/or their vehicles vandalized. It happens everywhere. A few thugs cast a very negative shadow on most hometown fans. I wish that this behavior would stop, but as long as kids can have a few beers, good judgment seems to elude them. emoGeezer

Did anyone happen to catch Lil Wayne's comments about Coach Kiffin on Around the Horn yesterday afternoon? emoLaugh emoEek emoLaugh

I think it's time for a CFF intervention.........................................

SPOON, the first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem. You've just done that and I'm proud for you. Next is to enroll in a 'twelve step program' of some kind..."Tiders Anonymous',,, 'Bam-Anon',,,,etc. I happen to be a member of BaNS (Barners against Nick Saban). emoPoke emoLaugh

p.s......WAR EAGLE!!!! ;)

I had that program on but the sound muted as I was listening to the idiots on Sports Talk. I imagine that Jim Rome was really burning on Coach Kif's comments. I hope that the flames scorched his drawers. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I missed it! Who is LiL` Wayne anyhow?? emoScratch Is he someone important?? As for the first post Drumking put on this blog, he is right about a few thugs doing dumb crap at there home fields to opponents and their property. Me and my ex-wife was at the "Miracle in the Bluegrass" when LSU beat Kentucky on a 75 yard hailmary pass as time ran out. The whole game the LSU fans where rude, nasty to all around them, and just down right obnoxious. There was several occasions where LSU fans acted in physical ways to Kentucky fans. I know all LSU aint that way but with me and probably everyone else at that game it left a bad impression of LSU fans and the school.

Lil Wayne is a rapper that for some reason was on 'Around the Horn' Tuesday afternoon. If you have never heard of the show before, you should try to catch it one time. Its pretty entertaining. 5pm weekdays on ESPN. Anyway, they were asked about their thoughts on Lane Kiffin's comments about Meyer and the rules violations committed. While the other sportswriters made some good comments about the situation, Lil Wayne said that the University of Tennessee should fire Lane Kiffin before the season even starts. emoLaugh

Dave,

LOL.....

You guys are so funny! Since meeting my Tn girlfriend in 2006 and moving from South GA to Tenn in 2007 - I became a Vols fan to support my babys team.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was born and raised in upstate (Western) New York and the Syracuse Orangemen will always be my favorte college football team. The Vols will never ever be anything but #2 on my list.

For the record..... I've liked the Vols for yrs, just wasn't a fan until now.

Go Orangeman!!!
