The Town of Kimball and the Tennessee Bass Federation announced it will host the 2012 Student Angler Federation (SAF) Tennessee High School Fishing State Championship. The event will be Saturday, May 12 on Nickajack Lake launching out of the Shellmound Ramp near Kimball, Tenn.

TBF said yesterday they were expecting 50-60 but won't be sure of a final number until Friday after 10.

I'll remember that the next time we need a boat! Always seem to be short boats at the wrong time. Needed a couple 4-28 and could never find them.

I am bringing my kids from Obion County on the complete opposite end of the state. You locals go easy on us! We're used to cypress trees instead of bluff walls! ha ha!
