The head "Ball Coach" has pretty well owned the Vols since he was at Duke. With the offense he is running I look for the Gamecocks to win by at least 14, but it could be more.emoLaugh

I love the ole ball coach. Watched him play in high school against my Oak Ridge wildcats. Watched his favored USC team get drilled by our rebuilding Vols in the blackout game on Halloween at Neyland. I expect about the same thing this weekend. Conner Shaw has played very well this year, but will be dazed and confused and throw for three INTs in Knoxville. UT wins by 17.

Well who knows? I thought Ga would blow Tn out but look how that game went. I said that on Ga's worst day they could win that game and it turns out they had to do so. I just think the talent gap is too wide in the Gamecocks favor. SC 30 / TN 14.

The way the VOLS are playing physical on D I don't look for Conner to make it through the whole game and with Clowney knowing this he will probly ask to sit out this game emoScratch VOLS 24-21.GO VOLS

Vols know what they can do when they play for 4 quarters now. Gotta get the ball in Pig's hands and contain Mike Davis. Tiny will own Clowney and make him wimper back to the bench. Ill take the over on 5 Spurrier visor throws as our mvp Palardy kicks the game winner. 27-24 Big Orange

I hope Tenn wins. but I'm not weraring rose colored glasses. Tenn. had one good half against a depleted Ga. Team ( look what Missouri did ). I'm just hoping we can play 4 qtrs of consistant ball and keep building on the future. I'ts still going to take some time and I just hope everyone stands behind the team because we are still going to have some bumps in the Road.... On another note, I try not to get caught up in the team badgering thing because if you live long enough it will change and anyway most of the badgering comes from people who never played the game. South Carolina 28 Tenn. 17

The ole ball coach is making statements trying to get into Tennessee's head again. You gotta love it. He can't help himself. He's got a team to back it up, but let's see if UT can show enough heart and improvement since Georgia to steal another one from SC. I hate to see injuries, and to imply TN did anything wrong is unfair. Of the four injuries to GA, one player was untouched, punter was just blocked, and one player sat out all last year with same knee injury. These SEC players today are huge and injuries are going to happen.

Thanks Carl! It sure was another great game for the improving Vols, and an electric atmosphere in Neyland. What fun it was to see the ole ball coach eat his words again. He may have coached more ranked teams to a loss in Neyland than any other coach in history. He's 6-7 now and I bet five or six of those teams were ranked.
