Fished Watts Bar Tail waters from about 8:30 until 11:30 am. today. Extreme fog early but turned into a beautiful day. Total was 20 white bass, one Tennessee tarpon, and a 17 inch walleye. Walleye caught by my guest who is an experienced walleye fisherman from Wisconsin. He was pumped because it was his first walleye from southern waters. Foley spoons in chartreuse and white were the lures of choice. All fish released unharmed except for 5 of the white bass that caught the Ooltewah shuttle.

More than twenty fish and no dead snakes — tennfisher is doing better as he ages or he is getting better fishing partners.

Gosh Gene, that has been over 40 years and you still won't let me live it down? emoBigsmile Couldn't get a better fishing partner than you, but this guy is pretty good.

You don't have anything to live down, Howard. We had a good time and you were very resourceful fixing that battery problem with only a pair of pliers. It was too late for us to get help and you got us going home with little delay. It is an example of a situation where we should all have at least one tool with us at all times.

Yes, it was over 40 years ago. I must be well into my seventies, but let's see, when was I born.....?

It is nice to see your posts occasionally.

Nice day! Heading that way for our first trip there ever in less than a week. Will be targeting striper and catfish. Was hoping to load up on jacks below the dam. I'm a little bummed to hear you only caught one of those! Hopefully they are thicker when we are there!
