Absolutely perfect weather and great fellowship with all kinds of CFF'ers. emoGrouphug </p>

It was great to meet some new folks, old folks, regulars, and even that guy that smells like skip-jack.emoPoke </p>

I learned a much better method of throwing a cast net, and also learned that the palomar knot beats the doody out of all others with the awesome jig that Puddle jumper made for the event. </p>

Missed seeing some that couldn't make it or had better things to do than eat my hot dogs....emoBigsmile </p>

It is clear we need to do this more often as we didn't get to some of the things we had planned on because everyone was having such a great time of fellowship, and maybe some fish stories about the big one!emoLaugh Sounds like we better start planning now....</p>

Hey Spur,,
Had a great time at the Meet and Greet got to meet and talk to some folks that I havent been able to catch up with before, and to see some old faces again, was a great time and I thank you for all the hard work.. there is a wealth of knoledge among the CCF members and they are great enough to share it freely and openly,, thank to all,, also added a few folks to the already long list of guys I would like to get together with for a day on the water..

PS: For those of you who havent see it the Team Fatboy Dinners are what tonight is about, getting together and feeding ourselves and sharing fishing stories "lies" and just hanging out with some great guys.., ill get one schedualed soon,,"you dont have to be a member just show up..its informal fun and food "

Richard, the improved clinch knot won't hold a light to the palomar, it was proven many times over last night. I have always used the improved clinch untill I saw the demonstration, I guess I will have to change over.</p>

It was a great time to get together and talk fishing! rsimms, you wouldn't have as much confidence in the Improved Clinch if you had been there for the knot wars. No matter who tied it, the improved clinch lost every time I think. I changed from it in the past, maybe it's time for you to get a better knot too.

Spur did a great job yesterday. As always, i had a blast getting to meet new faces and talk with the old ones. BTW, I guess theres gonna be a "fillet war" next time! hehe

PuddleJumper, you did good with FA's gift and the knot test contraption was awesome! Thanks for doing those things.

Looking forward to the next one...this time with hamburgers and tatersalad!

Hey guys look like you had a great time sorry i did'nt get to make it. We had a club tx that blasted off a 7 out of there .You probably heard us >I was in the real loud boat that ran down towards the nuke.I hace a quick question did anyone go over to the boat ramp there were 8 or 9 good size bass laying on the bank and floating around the dock dead that is a shame .
