What a game. Johnny Football made some incredible plays and almost pulled off a offset again. A.J. put on a clinic on how to win a ballgame.

Roll Tide!

Alabama got two big interceptions today by pushing the receiver and of course neither was called. Don't take my word for it, watch the replay. Should have been another loss against Johnny Football.

They'll probably lose to LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn this year. Their defense is not too good. They gave up the second most yardage in SEC history. They had no answer for Johnny Football except of course pass interference.

I'm no Alabama fan but I didn't see the interference you are talking about. What won the ball game for Alabama was doing what they do the best and thats run the ball. When you can move the ball on the ground like Alabama that sets up the play action which Alabama is also very good at. A&M had no answer for the Tides running game. As far as that little water bug there is no doupt he is good but some of his passes were in double coverage like the last interception he threw. The interception he threw down on the 4 yard line was on him too. Personally, I can't stand what he is doing to College Football by his off field anctics which plays right into the hands of the Media and TV. They reaped Millions on that game yesterday. I believe this is the main reason the NCAA didn't come down on him like they should have. You think tickets would have sold for thousands without Johnny? ESPN and the rest of the media are all about ratings and and I believe it's reached the point where the NCAA don't mind making a dollar or two either. Espn is now even starting to exploit the High Schools.

As far as the Tide goes I don't think Ole Miss or Auburn even coming close to beating Alabama maybe LSU but I don't think so. Here is my 5 teams that I think has a shot at the Gold Ball; Alabama, Clemson, Oregon, LSU, and Georgia. Just my opinion though. I'm a Tennessee fan but I'm also realistic we have a long road ahead of us untill we get some Talent it's going to be a bumpy road.

What beat TAMU was Bama running the ball on long 6 minute drives. The best defense agains Johnny football is keeping him sidelined. Not a pretty game for either defense but its a win for the Tide. Roll Tide!!!!!!!

What impressed me almost as much as Johnny football was the improvements the Bama offensive line made. AJ had all day to throw the ball and the running lanes were massive. I wasn't sure what we would see after the way they played Va Tech. The Big Red Line is in a groove now and there's a bunch of hungry tailbacks that will benefit from them.

Bama may have just beaten the best offensive team to ever play the game. (IMO) When A&M calls a play and it breaks down they automaticlly go to another play based on the previous play. That is why ALL elgible receivers were in five yards of the hail mary pass and JF never looked he just threw to a spot. JF and Evans are good but Sumlin is better!(IMO)

Dang! I thought I would get things stirred up, but only calm well thought out responses. What has happened to this forum? OK, one more try.

Maybe Alabama can go for one National Championship in a row this season. Of course they will be stripped of the last two because D J Fluker played in those seasons. Just like in the Reggie Bush case they'll have to give up those last two BCS NC trophies. And just like USC, their program will never be the same. Maybe Kiffin can come coach after Saban is forced out.

Johnny Football is must see TV. I can't believe how he escapes the grip of men that are so big and strong, and how fast he is, and how good his throwing arm is. He's a freak!

And it wasn't enough. He did the rest of all that scoring on a worn down defense. A&M's defense started out that way! I would much rather start a game knowing what I was going to do and what I have. Everyone knew Bama was gonna go to their power game and that won them the game. emoApplause

Let's qualify this some: Johnny Footbball led the SEC in rushing last year(1,400yds), he amassed over 5000 total yds of offense, almost forgot, won the Heisman as a FRESHMAN. You are right in that they may not be the best offense, butAlabama probably beat the best quarterback to ever play the game.

So would that mean that they "Didn't beat one of the Best Quarterbacks to ever play the game. How easy you "Bammers" try to forget your losses...lol...lol..lol.... I guess what you meant to say is since last year he beat Bama and this year he didn't, you beat this best one this year? Gotta love Bammer math!

A&M has played three games this year so lets wait till the end of the year. Might want to consider the 1971 Nebraska cornhuskers who averaged 40 pts a game and beat Bama in the Orange bowl somthing like 40 to 7 or the 1995 Nebraska team that Averaged 50 pts a game while playing 4 teams in the top 10. Just saying!

Thought I'd share...

If Coach Saban said it I believe it. End of consideration!

I will say this about the 1971 Orange bowl. No game in the history of Bama football helped the program like that game did.

I could see the Buckeyes and Bama in the NC, but I think it will be the Ducks and Bama if Bama doesn't slip up. Bama still has to face a very good ol Miss Team and then LSU. Then the East Conference Champ {Ga. ?} just to get to the NC. Stanford could also beat Oregon. I just don't want to see Louisville against any of these other teams.
