Back in February I fished the Grant's tourney on Guntersville. That day the weather was less than "perfect", with wind blowing 40+ and raining heavy. Needless to say I should never have made a run from Goose pond to Mudcreek in my 16 foot G3. But it held up great and i managed to get home safetly that day. It was about month until the boat made it back to the water. Once on the lake I noticed that it was taking on lots of water and I was continually pumping it out. So I dealt with this problem until early May when I couldn't handle it any more and decided to find the problem. Upon checking the hull I noticed that underneath it seemed to have many tiny cracks. So I took out my drop in trays and noticed that the welds that hold the beams running lengths ways of the boat had broken. I took the boat to Scott at Nichols and he helped me out tremendously!!!! even though I didn't purchase the boat from him. He sent pictures to G3 and a few emails. Gs decided to give me a brand new boat!!! using my motor (50 hp four stroke yamaha) and depth finders. So thank you Scott and G3
