I meant to post this two days ago. My TM transducer cable developed a break or bad place causing all kinds of problems on my bow mounted 898 Bird. I looked all over the net to find a replacement cable. Then I just happened to pm Johnny Stansell at djsmarinelectroinics. Not only was he $30 / $80 cheaper than any quote that I had found. I found out there was no shipping charge or sells tax!? Then he shipped it to my office. I didn't even have to go pick it up. I mailed him a check. Go figure? What a deal! The bad news was that I worried him to death asking questions about how mechanically, electronically, challenged me could install this thing. He was great! I would recommend him to anyone. I just need to get off my butt and go up to Soddy Daisy and find his place. I like doing business with any local company first and foremost and then he's a CFF'er to boot!
