I normally fly low on the radar on here but after having a night like scotty and I had in the catch tournament all I can say is thanks dad. I am very fortunate to have had someone introduce me into this sport and spend time and have patience making me who and what I am today as a fisherman.I guess the older I get and the older he gets I think about it more because I know one day I won't have him around to tell him thanks for everything you showed me and helped me with. If any of you still have the opportunity to walk to your dad or whoever got you into this sport and shake there hand I suggest do so it will give you the greatest satisfaction you could ever imagine.

Post of the year!!! The only thing that could have made the bag you and Scottie weighed in at the Catch more impressive is the humility you showed here. Congrats again on an unbelievable bag of fish.

Right on about dear ol Dad! I only wish that my Dad was physically able to get in and out of the boat and go with me now. But he makes me report to him and tell him the play by play after each fishing trip. The good, the bad and ugly, all! Now all I can say is WOW on that bag of fish! Very impressive! Congats!

Shoot Jeff-I beleive you'll fish on in his honor! He's a well respected man on Nick and you're lucky to still have him at your side!

Just carry on the tradition of fathers teaching kids to fish! Congrats on the nice bag also

Thanks Ron and wiggles I'm not going to give it all together just slow way down.
My plan is to find some new angler or angler's and teach them all my tricks and spots on largemouth bass smallmouth bass and crappie on the Nick one day thats how I'm going to keep the tradition going.
