Hello to all fellow anglers and outdoorsmen (&women). I look forward to joining in on the fun. I am from Northwest GA and fish Chickamauga, Watts Barr, and Nickajack in Tennessee most frequently. My home lake is Carters lake in Chatsworth, GA.

If you have any experience on Carters then it is the same ole same ole. If not and you are not familiar with fishing deep then I would say it's not worth your drive. If you have good electronics on your kayak then you can have some success. There are some huge spotties to be caught in that lake. They are starting to transition into a post spawn pattern following bait fish in 12-25 feet of water. Find a brush pile in that depth and you will usually find bait and feeding fish. If you make the trip good luck. Carters is a beautiful lake to fish.
