So the Saturday night before last, I somehow lost a favorite rod and reel combo off the side of the boat. I tried to get it for a minute but the boat was moving around. So the best thing I could think to do was to mark a way point. Got in touch with our own scubajt41 and we met up at HBSP to try and locate it. First off, he was right on time which I like. We loaded his stuff in the boat and on the way out he explained everything and how he would do it. Once we got to the location everything went according to his explanation. Anchored down he got his gear on and in he went. I have to admit I had my doubts because it was really cloudy and the water was SO murky. He came up once and asked if I was sure this was the spot I told him maybe a little closer to the grass line and he went back under. Next time he came up he had the freakin rod in hand! emoWorthy I couldn't thank him enough and his cost was WAY cheaper than the rod and reel and like I said it was a favorite. So once again thank you scuba! Anyone who has a good idea of where they lost something on the water should give him a try. I will say that if you know you can get him close to the spot, he'll probably find your item.
