I had the pleasure of taking Dr Phillip Gawthrop and his brother-in-law from Iowa up to Watts Bar dam this AM to do a little striper fishing. We fished 2 hours and landed 4 quality fish that weighed 52.1 pounds. Largest topped out at 15.1 while the smallest was 11.1. We also caught twin 13 pounders. About 6 other boats up there this morning. I saw Tileman and his son, but they hadn't caught any when we left. It was sort of slow for us too. We had 3 other Rockfish pull off after a brief fight. That's it for me for probably a couple of weeks.emoGeezer

emoThumbsup I guess you get to stay "at the head of the line" on next visit to Doc's office. emoLaugh

Yes, Richard and the nicest thing happened this morning. I gave him all the fish to help feed that horde of people that he has in over the holidays and he loaded me up with some deer meat which I love. Great trade, huh?

Nice Catch!!! emoThumbsup

Tileman and I didn't have to much luck after you left, It's killing me knowing that they are out there right below me and I still haven't caught one yetemoBang

It was nice to meet ya and thanks for the advice!!!

Congrats on another day of catching the big ole boys. I believe I recognize a couple of the fish from when we went (LOL).
