bring a tooth brush(or other suggested item for donation) and fish for guaranteed prize monies. The donated items go to homeless veterans in the Chattanooga area. The Sponsors/Business' get the exposure/advertising/recognition and great tax write off. The fisherman get to do what they love and everyone contributes to a great cause.

If you or someone you know wants to be a sponsor or a part of this, please call me(803 230 1906) or pm me.

i have a PDF version that i can email to anyone interested, if anyone has a lead or someone they think may be interested in becoming a sponsor i will happy to go and meet with them and if you can pass along their information.

My goal is to have the flyers out and circulating by 01 Sep.

Interesting. According to Berke, he has eliminated veteran homelessness in Chattanooga. https://wdef.com/2017/02/09/chattanooga-effectively-ends-veteran-homelessness/

People might take it seriously if your brochure did not advertise you more than the cause. What this looks like is that you are using homeless veterans to promote yourself.

Re: The Rusty White Charity Bass Challenge to benefit homeless veterans in the Chattanooga area

this is a no brainer in terms of wanting to fish for guaranteed prizes for a nominal donation to a great cause, i have no doubts there will be a big crowd. the 3yrs i did this in charlotte it was the largest tournament held on the lake each year.

hey guys, at this point im still lining up the sponsors. i put this up and offer to email the pdf version of the working flyer to show to folks who might want to be a sponsor. the final flyer will be made available. if you own or work for a company that might be interested i'll happy to come meet/talk to whomever. Thanks!

Re: The Rusty White Charity Bass Challenge to benefit homeless veterans in the Chattanooga area

working on more sponsors and again guys, if you or someone you know owns a company, has had a good year and thinking ahead to taxes.............charitable donations are tax deductible :) more prize monies=more fisherman=more supplies for the homeless veterans

Re: The Rusty White Charity Bass Challenge to benefit homeless veterans in the Chattanooga area

Great idea! Many of our local outdoorsman will be in the woods chasing deer on that holiest of weekends in November. Seriously, lots of folks have put their rods down and you will have double the participation if you held this in the April-July time frame.

well maybe some of them will pick their rods back up to come fish for guaranteed prizes and a nominal donation. i think veteran's day is a suitable day for a tournament to benefit veterans :)

Re: The Rusty White Charity Bass Challenge to benefit homeless veterans in the Chattanooga area

Please email me the PDF version as well. I would like to fish in it if I am not down at the big G that weekend....

And, the company I work for might be interested in sponsoring as well.
