The CBA Truck N' Trailers USA July open is this weekend, Saturday night the 23rd.

It looks like it is going to be another hot one with a chance of rain. emoRain Last year this one had some really good sacks of five fish limits brought to the scales. Barry Wingo and Jeff Hineman came out on top of the field with 29.72 lbs to win it. Followed closely by the team of Tony Townsend and Galen James with 28.72 lbs. Who knows what this weekend will bring but I expect to see some good weights again. Anyone want to guess?

These are some long tournament, I like to call them endurance tournaments, they start at 8 pm and end at 8 am, 12 hours long. emoRolleyes Make sure you bring plenty of ice for your fish and come prepared to pamper them all night. You sign up at the ramp that evening at Chester Frost Park.

It would be nice if the cba would put the results up for the July day tournament so people could see how they finished and decide if they were going to fish the night tournament. I know they are busy but it would help out ..

Good luck to all the victims on this 12 hour marathon. emoPoke I will be home in my nice cool house thinking of you all tonight before I turn in. I hope with all of your dedication everyone catches a boat load!!! emoDance After last night's slow Friday night six hour dog fight I was really ready to stop at 2 a.m. I was thinking that if I was in the CBA I would still have six hours to go!!!! emoGoofy Looks like there is a good chance for rain this evening before the sun sets so bring a rain suit. Here in Ooltewah we just had a pretty good rain cell open up with hard rain and high winds.

Also last night the surface water temp was 90 degrees when we started. emoDoh Take lots of ice and chemicals to help out what you do catch. May be a true struggle to keep them alive all night if you catch some good ones early. Stay safe and tight lines to you all. emoWorthy Jmax

I got the cards from Shane tonight. Illl try an get everything updated this week. I've got surgery tomorrow on the shoulder, so it may take me a bit to be able to type and what not. Just hang in there with me.
