I have to admit, I have no idea what it will take to win this one. I went yesterday, 25 degrees with a wind chill that made it 17 degrees! emoCrazy It was terrible. I personally felt completely lost and had no idea what to use and where. One thing about the CBA bunch. It is a group of anglers that will humble you every tournament. Someone will find some fish and put it on you. emoWorthy Last year this one was won by Bruce and Josh Wofford. While half the field struggled finding a bite from a keeper bass those two were culling and ended up the day with a five fish tournament limit of 29.92 lbs!!!! Like I said, humbling. There was 10 sacks over 20 lbs, actually that is kind of low for a March CBA.

Who will it be this time? Anyone want to make a prediction? I will predict there will be the haves and have nots. Those who know what to do in these conditions and those who are just donating. emoBigsmile With the water temp falling and the depth falling also the bite should be very tough to come by. Yesterday the water when I got there was 48 and when I left it was 52. The water is still high for winter pool but it is going down.

Sign up sheets are at the locations, if you feel the need head that way and we will see you this Saturday. emoToast

Here were last year's winners. emoThumbsup

Re: The Chattanooga Coca-Cola March CBA Open, what will it take?

I am with you Jim. I have no idea what to think or expect. I think this may be won by the Lusk's or Seth Davis and Brent Butler may get there first win this weekend. I still think it will take over 30 pounds to win. Somebody will find a pile of them.

Re: The Chattanooga Coca-Cola March CBA Open, what will it take?

Falling lake level, lower water temps, windy, looking like rain around launch, it's going to be rough. I'd say the results will be similar to the last one. A 30+ pound sack to win with a 10+ pound difference to 2nd.
With the weather and it being my first cba, if I weigh 5 for 5lbs I'll be smiling bigger than the winnersy

I feel like the man behind the beard Rogne Brown will make a showing this weekend. 33lbs

You guys are right, Somebody will have a sack full. It is very humbling fishing against these CBA guys.
This is are 3rd year fishing this deal and I am just amazed at each and every weight in. Luck to all

Re: The Chattanooga Coca-Cola March CBA Open, what will it take?

I'm guessing 28lbs to win. Falling water and falling temps are a tough combo. The only thing worse would be really muddy water to add to the mix. Should be an interesting weight-in. Good luck to all!!

Been the same conditions over the last several days and the bite has been pretty darn good over all. There will be some good bags weighed in.

RE: The Chattanooga Coca-Cola March CBA Open, what will it take?

Been out sick half this week. emoVomit I am running low, if I am not at the weigh in you know I tucked tail and headed my sick butt back to the house. I missed the first one due to a death in the family. Hate to miss the second too. emoAngry I will be there but you might not want to get too close.

Wishing all who fish a safe and great fishing day. May we all load the live wells with big'uns! emoThumbsup Jmax

Anthony Correll and Lagan Kokoska won it with a hair over 30 lbs.
