It comes as no surprise that TT did another great job as always. We had a blast and the gift swap was a big hit. There was one fishing reel that must have changed hands about 20 times.emoLaugh I am not sure who ended up with it finally. Then there was three boxes that said chicken on them and the first two had a $25 gift card and a big chocolate bar. Well the last one which everyone assumed had that in it as well had the big chocolate bar but instead of a $25 gift card there was a can of spam.emoLaugh Of coarse there was a lot of laughs and fun, Mad Bomber, Fat Albert and Drum King all set togather and they were as intertaining as always.emoGoofy I would like to be the first to say a big thanks on the forum for the efforts and time TT put into this event.emoWorthy Jmax

It really was a blast! Jmax had I and the wife sit with them and we had a great evening. Everything went beautifully, and one of the kids even traded for the Gumby and the spy book I had won. My wife won a box full of fishing goodies, and it turned out to be from Jmax. BUT..... it was all bass stuff!!!!! Thanks TT for another wonderful get-together!emoApplause

First, let me say THANK YOU to TT for putting so much effort into this dinner. She worked so hard to insure that everyone had a good time. As usual, it was great to see the familiar faces and meeting new friends like Wet Willie and Backonthewater. Rob's son Parker is getting better looking by the day. Thank God he got his mother's looks. Good luck on the water Bprice and 2jigs. Perhaps Scott and I will see you on the water tomorrow. And now for the pictures.

TT, I have always read about what a great job you do with forum events and I want to say that I totally agree. Tonight was a lot of fun. Thanks for all that you do. It was also a pleasure to get to meet some of the other CFF members and put names and faces together. We learned all kinds of things about Fat Albert. And we can't forget the fun had by all during the gift swap. We didn't participate but enjoyed watching. It was a fun evening and we will anxiously await the next get together.

I pray all of you will have a safe, happy, healthy, and very Merry Christmas! Take care, God bless, and happy fishing!

Great job TT, you have outdone yourself this time, I should have know you would, it is hard to beat perfect. Thanks for sharing your table with us to get my wife out of the draft over by the windows, I don't know if it was the AC system or coming from FA's, MB's, or DK's table with a little of Erickm mixed in.

I got to meet a bunch more new faces to go with a lot of names I probable will forget untill the next time. (CRS disease has just about took over) The gift giving was one of the best i have ever witnessed and I couldn't get over the looks on the faces when someone lost their prize. Looked like a perfect turnout and everyone was laughing. Now when is the next one?

All I can add is what a wonderful bunch of folks. I have said it before and I'll say it again; I sometimes feel more at home with my CFF family than I do at a family reunion! It was great to meet some new people and see some old friends as always. The gift swap was a huge success! Thanks TT once again for doing a great job of pulling things together. It is very much appreciated! David has created more than a forum here, he has created an extended family! Merry Christmas everyone! May the Joy and Light of the Season touch your hearts and be with you in the upcoming year.

It was a great time for sure! The gift swap sure was a blast, and I think most all of the people enjoyed their gifts...even if EricM had to keep the Gumby doll!

I appriciate it, TT, and hope that we do this again next year!</p>

By the way, I had a winning lottery ticket of $3, so this would be another thanks to TT!

Wow what fun!!!
I was telling DK when we got there that it was a little nerve-racking walking into a party where i didnt know a single person, other that the ones i was bringing, he put his hand on my shoulder and said it would be fine . I walked in the door and TT gave me a great big hug and i felt like i had known her my whole life, from that piont on like FF said it was like being with family... emoParty emoParty

We had a Great Time, Food was good , Company was better " thanks for hanging with us FoodSaver.. got a chance to talk to some of you " not as many as i would have liked too!!" and put some faces with the post ive been reading for the last few months, Made me feel like i have really got to make more of an effort to get out on the water with some of you fine folks...emoFish emoFish emoAngler

The gift swap was almost as fun as the conversation was , Alison "my daughter" started us out with a bag full of jigs "going to have to show her what to do with them " but she was excited to get more "fishing stuff" to go into her tackle box, When it was my turn i couldnt help myself from " steeling " a box of crappie jig from TT , tried to distract her while getting them and got chased across the room .. emoBadLanguage "Sorry TT"...when my wife got up there Man did she want the gift card for "olive garden " who had that ?? TT, Well she figured that if two of the identical boxes had gift cards in them then the third should to "right ???" WRONG!! there was the same big candy bar But Wait,, Can of SPAM, aw man .... I got to here about that all the way home.. emoBooHoo emoBooHoo Gift swap over .. well maybe not ... MB brought a really nice UL fishing pole for the kids to draw for.. Alison got up and drew a card, and lucked out and won the pole " she loves it !!!! Now all we have to do is add some line and were fishing..emoDance emoDance .. that was a really nice way end to the gift swap thanks MB..emoToast

Well it was getting late and we needed to get Alison home so i talked to a few people and we headed home"Back to Ga" You where right DK it was fine!! Had a great time..

Thanks TT for all the hard work putting it all together emoGrouphug

It was really nice meeting all of you...emoDance emoDance

The Christmas Party success had more to do with the folks attending than the party planner. You can't hardly lose when you have a crowded room full of PWLTF!!! :) I don't contribute much to the fishing arena. BUT ... I try to deliver on my worth by enjoying our gatherings.

It was wonderful seeing some oldies that I lost touch with over the past 6 months, whose list is too long to type! And the newbies were a great asset to the fishing family. They're all WONDERFUL. Doc's wife was super nice and if I had to find ONE thing about the party that was a negative, it was that FAT ALBERT's wife couldn't get there because of traffic issues!

I'm blessed to know you folks, I'm humbled to know you all trust me to plan our socializing events. Boy .. if I could learn to fish imagine what the tx's would be like!!!!!

Have to say, in the beginning I thought man what am I getting myself into. Planning a party for folks who may or may not come, committing to a dinner with a business for a substantial amount of $$$ ... some warned me that I shouldn't do that, and honestly I was wondering at first. But I prayed and asked that God find a way for us to get together and enjoy each other with no hassels and HE DID!

I'm overwhelmed sometimes by the generousity and fun loving spirit of the folks on here. It's I who thanks you all for becoming friends, and like they say, like family.

Thank you for the special gift, I know it plays music and I love it! I'm glad some of you won on the scratch offs. Who was the big winner?

Happy Holidays everyone. And for those who couldn't make it ... boy don't miss the NEXT one. emoBigsmile

Forgot .. Puddle tell your lovely wife that yep it was me who had the $25.00 gift certificate from Olive Garden. And had she swiped it from me I too would have gone home with a can of spam and a candy bar. Perfectly logical to think ... there was yet another.

Whew ... glad I didn't get spammed!!!!

Your daughter was funny ... her comment upon seeing all the bait in her original gift was priceless. I never heard a better "Yuck" in my life.
