The Christmas Party success had more to do with the folks attending than the party planner. You can't hardly lose when you have a crowded room full of PWLTF!!!
I don't contribute much to the fishing arena. BUT ... I try to deliver on my worth by enjoying our gatherings.
It was wonderful seeing some oldies that I lost touch with over the past 6 months, whose list is too long to type! And the newbies were a great asset to the fishing family. They're all WONDERFUL. Doc's wife was super nice and if I had to find ONE thing about the party that was a negative, it was that FAT ALBERT's wife couldn't get there because of traffic issues!
I'm blessed to know you folks, I'm humbled to know you all trust me to plan our socializing events. Boy .. if I could learn to fish imagine what the tx's would be like!!!!!
Have to say, in the beginning I thought man what am I getting myself into. Planning a party for folks who may or may not come, committing to a dinner with a business for a substantial amount of $$$ ... some warned me that I shouldn't do that, and honestly I was wondering at first. But I prayed and asked that God find a way for us to get together and enjoy each other with no hassels and HE DID!
I'm overwhelmed sometimes by the generousity and fun loving spirit of the folks on here. It's I who thanks you all for becoming friends, and like they say, like family.
Thank you for the special gift, I know it plays music and I love it! I'm glad some of you won on the scratch offs. Who was the big winner?
Happy Holidays everyone. And for those who couldn't make it ... boy don't miss the NEXT one. emoBigsmile
