A 6-6 record ( I predicted 5-7)and a bowl gameis attainable this year. The Vols will not beat Mizzou next week but will make it close. The Vanderbilt game is almost a sure thing. The best thing to happen for UT this yearis Worley getting hurt, giving Dobbs a chance. I can only imagine where this team would be if Dobbs had played in every game. Jalen Hurd is an absolute beast too.UT had a Top 5 recruiting class this year. They are having a Top 10 recruiting seasonso far for 2015 according to Rivals and ESPN.

We may go to the Tidy Bowl this year, but at least it's a bowl.

Coach Jones really has the boys playing with some fire and intensity. Its great and exciting to see. Aint no quit in these boys. I was not impressed with what I saw last year from Dobbs (throwing wise). His arm strength looks great this year and im excited for the future. I predicted 6-6 and 7-5 if things went our way. Still hoping for 7-5!

I don't believe that Missouri will beat the Vols with Dobbs at QB. UT will outscore them. Vols defense got back on track last night. All those freshmen that Tennessee has been playing with all year are not playing like freshmen anymore. It will be a close game, with UT pulling out the win. emoGeezer

Dobbs adds a dimension that UT fans have never seen. We have caught up with the times and getting better every week. Dobbs' timing with the recievers looked better this week with the bye week. Mizzou has a good D but our offense looks pretty darn good and I think we can pull out a win next week. We will have to play near perfect football and have 1 or less turnovers for that to happen.
And what about Hurd?! Hes awesome. I hard nosed runner that has some speed to him. With more experience around him he will be taking over games like UGA's RBs.

Dicky, I also think Tenn will beat Mizu Dobbs stills throw one in the stands now and then but he is smart and with him being able to run opens up the run game

The vols are much improved due to Dobbs being a duel threat QB.I think they are capable of winning next week(hope so for my dawgs sake).I wish Ga. would sign duel threat QB's rather than pro style. Dawgs have survived this year due to having the two best RB's in the country plus more depth at RB. They also have a good short passing game. Defense not bad either, when they show up. Just MO. "slick"

I think TN will beat Mizzou as well. After the win against SC I felt like TN would win out. They are playing with a lot of confidence and Mizzou isn't that good of a team offensively. I believe that TN will have to beat themselves and make some big mistakes to lose to Mizzou.

I'm careful about having confidence in TN after these past years, but its hard for me to say I think they lose this game. It should be a close one, but I think the vols will be able to outscore them at home. There's definitely a great energy around the team right now, but the defense is a little young and thin still so that worries me.

I agree the Vols are headed in the right direction. I don't think Dobbs got the starting job at the first of the year because of how he practiced. He is the big reason the Vols have turned things around. I agree if he had started the GA and FL games they would have turned out much different. If we don't turn the ball over next Saturday we will win. Our defense is reenergized since they know Dobbs and the weapons we have give them a chance to win. We just need to stay healthy and have a great recruiting class this year. GO VOLS!!!! I have been a Vol fan my entire life and it has been a long time since I have felt like this. emoParty

Not so sure about our defense now that A.J. is suspended. He is the leader on the field. I am sure we will give Missouri a tough game and hopefully come out with a win. Like I said in an earlier thread, it is exciting to watch the Vols play now.

They will really miss A.J. Don't understand why these kids can't stay out of trouble. This will cost the defense some points, maybe the offense can overcome.

I'm going to be the biggest Vol fan Saturday night. My wife is a vols fan and I usually don't pull for them but I think they will win out also. Go dawgs.

The Defense will suffer with the loss of A.J. Johnson.
Unfortunately, a monster on the football field has a hard time not being a monster off the field.
