With changes in the way I fish and the family wanting to spend more time cruising and skiing it was time for a change. The ol toon has been great but it's been rode hard and out up wet, MANY times.

I decided to scout for an aluminum hulled deck boat and found a really sweet rig.

This is 22' long and 8' wide, it's a beast.
It's a 2000 model but sat on the dealer lot until 2007 when the original owner bought it and mounted the Vmax 150 and the 9.9 4-stroke kicker for trolling. These have less than 60 hours on them, no kidding.

It's also got a 70lb auto pilot Minn Kota up front.
Tons and tons of storage, live well, the works.

I had it over 40 mph during a test drive but I'm going to do my best to keep out of the throttle :D

I've got to put my H birds on it and install the new bait tank, already installed a new swim platform on the transom to make loading easier for swimmers

All in all I'm pretty dang happy with my purchase.

NIce, looks like fun for the whole family! Nice little kicker motor, must have used it to troll walleyes on Winnebago..lol

Looks like a bass boat mated with a pontoon boat and this baby came out. Very cool! You can even troll the breakline on Chick this summer and kill em...

Nice.....now! Should we start a pool on how long it takes you to break something? emoPoke emoLaugh

Remember... it's not "broke in" until I fish out of it. Don't let that Maurer guy help with break-in... he often takes that too literally. emoBigsmile

Puck looks great there, but watch the accuracy and number of satellites it shows because of the shadowing forward and even upward because of the overhead dash and angle installed. I don't know enough about how the antenna works, but conceivably you could lose half of the horizon. It might be no problem, just a possibility.
