The true beliefs of President Obama have been shown in the past several days as he chastised the Judicial Branch of Gov't. Being a constitutional lawyer he should know that we have three equal branches of gov't for something called checks and balances. But it seems Mr. Obama believes that since his healthcare bill is such a "good bill" it shouldn't be challenged in the Supreme Court. He is quoted as saying
"I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," . What does he believe the Supreme Courts job is? I don't think the media is portraying the severity of this view. One has to ask in a country that is based on Law and the Constitution does Mr. Obama really believe in those traditions? Should he being the President and head of the Executive Branch be able to sidestep another EQUAL branch of Gov't? These are the kind of statements made by Dictators not Democratically Elected Politicians. Is this the Change he was talking about in the election?
