They almost pulled it off like they did the week before. And I was hopeing they would, and might of had a chance if that last pass would have made it. Not very many vols fans are happy with the texas a-m . Not because they won, but how they came on to the field intending to hurt as many of the Tn. team as they could. And you could see it in how they played. And I might be wrong, but I didn't think it was legal to pull the ball out of a players hand or come from behind and go under his arm and knock the ball out of his hands on purpose. It's just my opinion and others i've talked to , but a-m might have won but not in a professional and talented way. So here's to saying I'm proud of the way the VOLS! played their game and pray the players will be okay.

That is part of it! Some teams play certain parts of the game different and like Florida they like to strip the ball and there were some hard hits but didn't see any cheap shots that caused injuries. Gonna be really physical with the Tide as well!

I was at the game and must say it was one of the most physical and hard hitting games I have ever seen. The one play that I believe got missed was on the hit of Evan Berry on the kick-off. Number 12 for A&M led with the crown of his helmet which hit Berry's facemask, and forced a turnover. Later in the game it was this same player that Nigel Warrior hit and got called for targeting and ejected from the game. Number 12 for A&M is a beloved football player by his fans. He wears number 12 and is known as the 12th man in Aggieland because he is a walk-on. It appeared to be a little home cooking from refs on that. I will say Butch was in the officials ear the entire game with a blood red face.
I am proud of how our boys played and the fact that they last 7 turnovers on the road against a top 10 team and nearly won is impressive, but the bottom line is you can't make that many mistakes and beat a quality opponent. It doesn't get any easier this week with the tide coming to town. I hope the boys can play the way they did against A&M and eliminate some of the mistakes. Go Vols!
