I was told by a couple of Tn. supporters that Hurd and Jones had words at the end of the Ga. game. Then after the game they clashed again and Jones told Hurd that the last time he checked he was still the Head Coach and he could and would sit him down. Hurd made another remark and Jones told him not only would he not play against Tx. A&M but he would not be on the travel team. They said that Hurd was not really injured. That was a cover up excuse for the media. My understanding even if you are injured, of course not severely, a starter does travel with the team. Hurd of course did not travel and was very disgruntled to say the least. Then Kamara caught a little more of the limelight and he was further upset. Then Kelly came on and took a little more of the limelight. While watching the Tn. SC game I noticed that most of other players kept their distance from Hurd and he stayed on the sideline away from everyone else ... alone. Even after he scored the only player that can over to him to congratulate him was Dobbs. I just don't understand that with four games left in the season and he is 400 yards away from being the all time Tn. rushing leader way quit now? He should just play out the season and they wait for the NFL draft. Also the NFL will not like what appears to be a Pre Madonna attitude or a quitter. He's making a big mistake in my opinion. Now for what it is worth, that is what I heard from two backers in separate conversations.
