I do not want this to taken as a political rant...BUT! The Supreme Court has give the WESTBORO CHURCH the permission to go ahead and PROTEST at our MILITARY...FALLEN HEROES funerals. In a 8-1 decision! The 1st Amendment right protects them. IT needs to be Amended in my opinion. Thank you Judge Alito for standing up. The other 8....hang your head in SHAME!!!
GOD BLESS THESE FAMILIES that have to endure these protest......and GOD BLESS our MILITARY!
I am done now.

Sometimes we pay a very high price for our freedoms. The shame is not on the Supreme court for upholding our Constitutional rights, but on those who would abuse those freedoms for their own causes - much less without regard for those who died to protect those very freedoms.

That's what I have thought. Has always been a weird twist of fate that they are going to protest at a funeral of a fallen solider that died defending the rights for them to protest. I would like to see them all be sent over there to live and see how long they lasted before being killed or put in prison. emoAngry Jmax

As disgusting as the actions of this cult is, the decision of the Supreme Court was correct. Free speech should never be abridged under any circumstances....period.

I do not agree....where does free speech end and harassment start. emoBang I think when it is a funeral and the group is taunting the people there and the person they are talking about is dead....that is HARASSMENT. Where is a good sniper when you need one, a few well placed shots and I bet they would not do that anymore. emoHoppingmad Redneck Jmax

I saw today that a group has organized to get between the Westboro idiots and the funerals. That's a good thing.

Did you know the Westborough bunch is not even a church, but just a group of idiots taking a church's name for cover? Good citizens should be sure to remain legal when it comes to getting between them and the funeral.

The case argued in the Supreme Court stated that the Westborough demonstrators were approx. 1,000 feet from the funeral and completely out of sight of those attending the funeral.
