Throttle

I have a 2009 triton with a 90 hrs merc. When I first put in it doesn't want to idle until it gets warm it seems. Also when I try to take off if I throw down the throt it won't take off I have to start slow then throw it down. Any help?????

Mine was doing something similar. If its the 90 ELPTO with carbs they are very cold natured. Advance the throttle to a high idle and just let it warm up. (I usually do this while parking the truck.) And for trying to stall when you take off I started using a can of B-12 about every 3rd tank and it fixed it right up.

Ok I'll try it! I always run stabil so I shouldn't have any water in fuel though. It's like it gets to much fuel to fast when I go from idle to full throt with no in between.
