Myself and another member have put together a fun dogfight for Thursday nights. It is a 1 fish, hence the name Big Fish, 3 hour dogfight. We put it together so we could have fun in a tournament setting and get some 3 hour practice in without the expense of fishing dogfights every night of the week. It is $5 per person. 1 fish per boat at weigh-in. 100% payout. Blast off is at 6 p.m. on Thursday night from the Soddy boat ramp at Holly Circle. Must be in sight of the dock by 9 p.m. All fish weighed by digital scale in a net until we come across some good scales. I hope we can get a few people out to have fun and get some practice.

We have fun. Its a good way to track fish in a tournament setting without spending a lot of cash and if we get a few more boats you will atleast win your gas money for the night if you win.

As long as the amount of people doesn't exceed the legal limit of your boat and you have enough lifevests, the more the better. Also, the rules and details as well as sign-ups are now on the calender.

Awesome, I was just thinking that this would be the perfect event to get my little 11 year old brother a look at what a tx is like, without the big expenses. Thanks for hosting. We will try to make it as much as possible.

1 fish per person but it wouldnt make sense to weigh a fish if u know ur partners fish is bigger. no dead fish

Sounds like maybe this could be really competitive. Not just against other boats, but even against partners. I like the idea of one fish per boat myself. Don't let it die. If we are to take care of 3-5 fish in other tx's then surely one shouldn't be too bad.

suppose to have my motor back! hope to be there this week, looks like its gonna be a good thing! let me know if u need some help!see u soon. emoToast emoGeezer

it depends. weve been using this time to find new spots and new ways to catch fish for future tournaments. i think it was 3 lbs last week
