Went yesterday for a few hours. First time fishing in awhile. Not much to report for quality or quantity, but did catch bass, crappie, yellow stripe, white bass, bluegill, perch and even some kind of a shiner. I think most species I’ve ever caught in a day. Water temp was 49 to as high as 52. Possum creek was pretty stained, but found some cleaner water in some other areas. See ya on the water…..Jim

Nice going. Are water temps are the same in NY with ice around the lake perimeter early in the day. A change may have happened the last three days with air temp being near 60 along with on and off rain.
Doubt I'll be going again until spring '23. My ice fishing days are over.

Thanks for the report and the encouraging news that there are some fish still in the Chick. I'd pretty much give it up until spring but you never know, maybe I'll get out on a warmer day.
