Tilt will not work on any switch. It will click at the motor but will not raise or lower. 1994 200 hp Mariner. Any suggestions?

No limit switches on this mercury.</p>

Common faults are relays (both would have had to go bad if not working either way), fuse, or a motor.Chances of that many switches going bad is not likely. Other possibilities are motor unplugged, wire cut, ect. You can give me a call and I can walk you through some test. If it doesn't work either way, then switching the relay will not tell you anything. That is only if it works one direction and not the other. If you look at the sticky threads at top of this section, you can see how a 2 wire trim motor are wired up. Hope this helps!</p>
