Another first time winner! I have to admit I like it when first time winners take the win. This was one of those times it seems everyone was smiling. Austin is a senior in High School so they are a youth team. emoThumbsup Tim is his dad so it was a father and son team. emoThumbsup Then add to that the pair had never won a CBA before! emoThumbsup Even those who had been beat in the top five under them were happy they took it. emoTongue Also with this win they get a free pass into the classic and only have to pay into the big fish pot.
The father and son team won the tournament in grand fashion coming in with five really nice solid fish weighing 28.86 pounds! emoWorthy CONGRATS!!!!
It took like 22 something to make the top five places. That team was Dusty Elrod and Thomas Henshaw. Steve Kite was there so I am sure he will be posting the top money winners on Channel 3 Outdoors so I will stop there.
*Dead fish; I also want to send out a big thanks to everyone who weighed in. They did a really good job of taking care of their fish. There were only two dead bass that came to the scales. In addition there were five others that were too far gone to recover. So a total of seven today would be the count. emoThumbsup I know you can argue all day about delayed mortality but seven at the scales with only two of those actually dead weighed in I think is really good. Those will not go to waste. emoHungry Jmax
