jeepboy, are you sure you need to do that. I run a 78 or 79 115merc but I do not know about setting the spark advance. I got a good book that covers those kind of things. I know you need a strob, and for some timing stuff you need a test tank because you need to set it while running at high RPM. Let me know whats going on with your engine and I might be able to help.
