Saturday we went to Tims with bad conditions for the lake. The bluebird skies and no wind wasn't very kind to us. We fished up river from 7 til 1 and only ended up with 2 fish for the day. Had a largemouth about 2.5 on a CB and a 3 lb. SM on a bitsy bug. That was all we could manage for the day, and I'm blaming it on the conditions. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Sorry, Tim's can do you that way.. but at least you were on the water. There will be better days ahead... you can bet on that...FA

Did you go up as far as Estill Park? I think if I were fishing on Tims right now I would try the last two small bluff walls on the right across from the park. Use to do good around there in the winter, but we need some prolonged cold weather.

flip, we actually started on the bluff on the left just under railroad bridge, then went up to bluffs on right across from park. Left there and went to the bluffs outside of the loop. showed fish and talked to a guy who had caught them there first thing that morning, but nothing. Left there and fished the drop down river of the cut through at the loop. On one of the little flats there is where the LM came from. Ran from there back to Rock Creek boat ramp and fished the wall on the side of the ramp that is where I caught the SM.

Minner, Nolan and I are going to be heading up there on Thursday... thanks for the report MooseKnuckles. We'll be putting in somewhere around Winchester. I've never been on that side of the lake, so I am looking forward to it. My buddy was talking about fishing some bluffs up river, maybe they are the same at what ya'll talk about.

Brandon, you probably should put in at Devils Step ramp. I dont think the ramps at the Bass Club are usable right now. Mooseknuckle, did you put in at Rock Creek? That one is good in the winter too.

Yeah, we put in at Rock Creek. I don't think the ramp at the bass club is useable now. I talked to a guy a minute ago that put in at the state park Saturday, so it's still useable. But for fishing up river Rock Creek is definately the way to go. We're fishing a touney over there tomorrow. I'll let you know how we do Bprice.

BTW, I've heard reports that the rock fish are coming up at the loop. We didn't see them Sat., but a guy I talked with caught them there on Friday.
