Fished Tims today spending all day up river. We started out on the point at the 27 mile mark. Stayed there probably longer than we should only caught 1 LM about 14" on blue/chart. CB. Left there and went to the deep brush across from the Rock Creek boat ramp. caught 1 (4 lbs.) there on black/blue bitsy with blue skinny chunk trailer. From there we went to the bluff on the left just under railroad bridge. Picked up 5 there on the bitsy big fish there was a 17" spot, all the fish on this bank were spots over 12", but the tourney we were fishing had a 15" limit on spots also. On our way back under bridges caught another 14" LM on the blue/chart. CB. Left there and went back to bank across from Rock Creek. After about 5 minutes my partner had one take off with his jig set the hook "line broke", we were talking about how we needed to retie more often. While he's getting tied back on I get a solid hit, reel down, set the hook *(&^%$!!@! broke line. emoBang To make it worse, about 5 minutes later we have a good 4.5-5 SM come to the top beside the boat trying to shake a jig out of it's mouth. After that we didn't have anymoe bites. 16 lbs. 10oz. won tourney, and we were with in sight of him all day. 16.7 was 2nd, 11.5 3rd. Bprice and guys, hope ya'll get on them tomorrow. BTW the rock fish came up about 10 this morning at the 27 mile marker, it's stacked with shad there.

<font color="#6600ff">Good report there,MK.  sorry that you all had line breakage...retie, retie....don't know why that is soooooooo important but it is...sounds as if you all had the bites to get in the money...I have fished up there several times and it is a good place to catch good fish...

MK thanks a lot friend... Nolan is real familiar with all the areas. Thanks for all the details... it was an awesome report. I'll have a real detailed one tomorrow night. We are thinking about cheating a little tomorrow and fishing with some live shiners. Just to add some action to the fold.

I haven't decided where I'm going yet, either going back there or going to Normandy to look for some crappie, and hopefully a hog. If I'm out there I'll be in an old gray Laser, you won't be able to miss it when I crank the big motor.
