Well I spent the evening and nite on Tims Ford, Friday. The bite was slow and extremely soft. I put 2 small large mouth in the boat and 1 nice smallie 3.49 lb. When I left Chattanooga (4:00 P.M) it was 102 and when I launched out of Tims Ford State Park (5:30 P.M.) it was 73 and raining. Probably had something to do with the bite. I fished the lower end of the lake and caught each of the fish on C-Rigs using 3/8 0unce bullet weights with Lazer Sharp 3/0 extra wide off set and Watermelon Pumpkin and a Blue Flek 4 1/2 inch Case Jack Worms.

What little activity took place abround Midnight till 2:00 A.M. fishing points in 18 to 22 feet water. The bites were extremely soft and felt the line get heavy and if I didn't try setting the hook they would just let the bait go. I thought it felt like it could of been one of those notorious Wall-Eye finicky bites so I swithched over to some Crank-baits but had no takers. Got off the water at 4:00 A.M. and reached the house at 5:30 A.M..

All in all I thought it was a great trip. Got a little damp but reached the house with NO injury to man or boat. I will be fishing it again soon and if anyone interested in joining me , send me a message.
