TN Black Powder start Nov 9th! (Not the 2nd)

I have talked to a bunch of folks that were getting ready to light the woods up this coming weekend, if you do you will be poaching. Due to late open dates this year, it falls on the 9th. Even some hunting radio shows in Middle TN have errantly announced the opening on the 2nd, that just causes more confusion.

Thanks Spur... I think the juvenile Hunt had some people confused because Muzzle loader usally opens right after it.

Yup. A buddy of mine is a GW in Wilson County, says they are gearing up to write a TON of tickets this weekend.

And a quick FYI. The TWRA did not change the opener of MZ season. It has been three Saturdays before Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember.
