Just a friendly reminder to re-new your Tn fishing license.

If you haven't done it yet, it's also a good time to look your boat and trailer over. Check tire pressure, lug nuts, battery water level, battery cables, boat safety equipment (make sure the fire ext is still in the green), trailer lights, trailer ball and hitch for tightness, hydraulic steering fluid (if equipped), and engine oil level.

TN fishing license are now good 1 year from the date of purchase, instead of expiring before March 1, right?

As far as I know the license go on sale on March 1 each year and end on the last day of feb., this year we had an xtra day in feb.

you can buy your TN license on-line I bought mine Feb 22, it came a couple days ago in the mail. But you do have to pay a 3.30 internet processing fee .. total was 30.30 and it does expire Feb 28 2009 , but Id rather have paid the fee to know that I had mine , instead of forgetting and the game warden giving me a big fat fine.

You will need to carry the printed receipt when hunting, fishing or trapping until your license arrives via standard mail in 5 to 10 business days.

Sorry, but the license is good from March 1st til the last day of Feb the following year.  The new ones went on sale Feb 18th. </p>

Sorry, but the license is good from March 1st til the last day of Feb the following year.  The new ones went on sale Feb 18th. </p>

Thanks, I could not remember. 3 of the 4 state fishing licenses that I have are good for a year from date of purchase.
