TN Trout Stamp

I have tried to figure this out for myself but I can seem to find where you would be able to tell if you need a Trout Stamp to fish an area or not. I am not targeting trout so I don't really want to buy that license. I would like to avoid anywhere that would get me in trouble. Is this listed anywhere and I am just not finding it?

Call the TWRA office in Crossville. They should be able to clarify your needs.

If you post what areas you will be fishing most of the fishers on here can tell you. If your fishing the Tennessee River as far as I know you should not need one

As long as you are not keeping any trout you happen to catch, and are obviously not targeting trout where you are fishing, then I think you will be fine.
