I had a house on the lake for 6 years before coming to Chattanooga. However, I spent most of my time chasing hybrids and stripers. Lots of standing timber underwater, deep down towards the dam. Lot of red clay islands, banks, don't recall any grass much. Have 2 rivers feeding the lake, tugaloo and Seneca they come together at the north end of the lake. Used to be prime for big stripers, but the tourney fishermen killed all the big fish so could weigh in. They mostly fished multi lines anchored, chummed and used cut bait. 18 yrs ago there were many 40-50 pound fish, not any longer. I really don't have much info on LM bass, have main lake, 2 river arms, many bays.
That's about all I have,
Regards, Norman
