Day 3 and we spent the night in Dayton so that Cliff would not have to make the drive from North Knoxville again. A;ways an adventure when we stay somewhere and this trip was no exception. We did eat a great meal at Jacob-Myers though.

Decided to put in at the Blythe Ferry ramp and see what was happening around te mouth of the Hiawassee. Turns out not much. We fished a couple of hours without much luck around the islands and back in a couple of creeks. Only had 7 bites and boated 1 fish. At this point we decided to head back to Chester to find another good spot or 3.

Once we got back down lake we checked one of the beds that had been active the day before and found tat the fish were still there. The water had dropped another 10 inches but there was still 2-4 feet of water around this grass. We caught a few and missed a bunch before deciding to find some new water. Wentback into Harrison Bay and poked around a while with limited success. Had al the fun we could there and headed back up toward theNuke plant to try some of the places we had luck in earlier in the week. One small bed had a lot of fish Tuesday but we could not get many/any bites. Wednesday they wanted to play and we caught a few including one around 5 pounds.

We wound up the day with 71 bites and 14 fish. Our best 5 would go 18-19 lbs. and fell to frogs. We kept up with the bitesby counting any "bump" or nudge. If it was the same fish we only counted it once even tough it may hit 3-4 times on the same cast. Water temps from 56-61 on the lower end.

Gonna brave the cold tomorrow and Saturdayand take an old high school buddy and his wife to see if we can get them some blow up action.
