Mike had a weddin to go to at 1 so he joined me for a couple of hours Friday morning. We put in mid lake at Shady Grove and fished down to Goat Island. Caught a few small bass on bluff banks with a deep jerk bait. Tried some float and fly with a couple of drum and small bass the only takers. After dropping him off at 11 I went across the lake and found some gulls diving on massive schools of bait. The big rock fish were feeding and I caught a couple on jerk baits in the 20-25 lb range. Caught a few more small bass and only had 2 keepers when I left at 2. </p>
