the ponds on the mnt. are all about a 1/2foot low,we really need some rain.
I have fished morning, noon, and evning.not much is biting.caught a couple of keepers at daylight today,on a bulegill soft bait,.
lastnight while fishing the weed beds with a rat I landed a very large FROG almost swollowed the whole thing.I may have to go to the river this afternoon .
Anyone know if the weed beds are up around Racoon pumping station?

It's 99 F here at 4:30! I was in Memphis last week and my favorite lake was down by about 1 1/2 ft! It hadn't rain there in like 3 weeks or so, then it rained Saturday night and came back up to normal water level! ( the fish were biting really well the folloing morning, because it had cooled off alot due to that rain!) We'll get a big rain soon!( I hope)emoWorthy

That's so true Jmax. You just gotta remember if your bank fishing, 80% of the fish are behind you.
