Lionel Ritchie? Okay, ha-ha. What a tool...

Jimmy Buffett is numero uno. "Guidance Counselor says ... 'Computer recommends ... hard drinking, calypso poet.'" After that, I'll go with...
Drivin' n' Cryin'
The Black Crowes
Widespread Panic
Marshall Tucker Band
Allman Bros Band
Travis Tritt
Skynyrd
Bocephus
The Cult
The Stones
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Georgia Satellites
The Doors
Men at Work

Every now and then I loves me some Def Leppard ... still one of the greatest live shows I've ever seen. Of course, us Parrotheads know how to throw a party at live shows and the energy at a Drivin' n' Cryin' show is spectacular.

It's also scary how much of what I listen to comes out of the state of Georgia ... they just know how to play it down there...

Good thread Brandon, but Journey still blows! emoPoke

What do these young pups know??? It was fun being a baby boomer, until now. Some of the artists of the 60s are revising their music hits with new lyrics to accommodate baby boomers this time in their golden years. Here are some of my new favorites:

Herman's Hermits - Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker
The Bee Gees - How Can You Mend a Broken Hip
Bobby Darin - Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' a Flash
Ringo Starr - I Get By With a Little Help From Depends
Roberta Flack - The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face
Johnny Nash - I Can't See Clearly Now
Paul Simon - Fifty Ways to Lose Your Liver
The Commodores - Once, Twice, Three Times to the Bathroom
Marvin Gaye - Heard It Through the Grape Nuts
Leo Sayer - You Make Me Feel Like Napping
The Temptations - Papa's Got a Kidney Stone
Abba - Denture Queen
Tony Orlando - Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Falling
Helen Reddy - I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore
Willie Nelson - On the Commode Again!!!

All of those and then some---------- STEPPENWOLF, J GEILSBAND, FLEETWOOD MAC, ROD STEWART, DEEP PURPLE, ZZ TOP, BEACH BOYS, ALICE COOPER, THREE DOG NIGHT, SPENCER DAVIS GROUP, JACKIE WILSON, MITCH RYDER, ROLLING STONES, RARE EARTH, DIANNA ROSS &SUPREMES, JACKSON BROWN, DOBIE GRAY, SAM & DAVE, AL GREEN, ROY ORBISON,
OK I'LL STOP emoCool
