Top water bite

I'm heading down to visit with some family next week. Wondering if there is any early morning top water bite going on down on the Chick?

Not sure about early morning bite but they have been hitting a pop r in the evening.

Dad and I have been hitting the flats VERY early off the channel edge with gunfish and Jackall pompadours. The bites have been fast and furious till the sun hits the water.
