topo maps

what is the best place to get a topo map for where i'm gonna be hunting. nowhere i look has very much detail.

how about a google earth veiw..it helped me with the 3000 plus acres out here behind the house,saved huge amount time scouting,

? I'm not completely sure, but I think that the TVA "map place" over off Hickory Valley Rd. has about every map available in our area.

That's right! From the intersection of Bonnyoaks and Hickory Valley Rd drive up HV rd and cross the RR tracks. It is about the second or third warehouse looking bldg on your right. About anything you could need.</p>

I have several Garmin GPS units loaded with Mapsource TOPO of theentirestateof TN in them. Zoom in any where you are. By the way I have a $249.00 Garmin LegendHCX color GPS with the base map plus all of TN topo loaded in it on an expanded memory card. For Case and all, just asking $100.00.</p>
