Tough day CFF8 Report

we started the day throwing spooks over hydrilla in about 5-7 ft of water on the back side of the channel ledge. had one keeper early after about 5 casts, caught a few more slicks and thirty minutes later the topwater bite was done for us. started flipping jigs in same area and other similar places focusing on points in the grass lines. but went for a few hours without a bite. finally my buddy picked up a worm and started fishing in 9-10 ft and started getting bit. ran into a small school of 15 in fish around 12pm. once it started to get kinda late we went flipping again in some areas that can be pretty good if their pulling water. caught three more flipping the grass with a 1 and 1/2 ounce tube ended up with five and twelve and a half pounds
