About two days ago I went to check my cam. would you belive it...it was gone! So I went and talked to the land owner asking him if anyone else hunted the property that I didnt know about. He said yes, he is down there right now on his four wheeler, so I took off!! Stoping him to ask about my cam. he acted like he had never even heard of one, asking me what a trail cam was...(yea right) So I played his little game and explaned it to him. Then he said he has not saw it, but there is a bunch of kids that go through the property via. a sewer line, and that the city had been down there all week working. But he knew some of the workers and would hint around a little bit and see what he could find out. Well the next day he called and asked me if I had made sure I looked in the right spot... (trust me you cant mistake the spot I had it) So once again I was playing his game and said yes im positive! He said well there is a cam. hanging down here on a tree. I asked him to describe it and it sounded like mine so he grabbed it for me. When I got it the batt. were gone. I put some more in it. And lo and behold not a pic. one on it!!! But hey i cant complain I got it back. So moral of the storie... if your cam comes up missing go back the next day the THEIVES might have brought it back!!! (yeah right)emoSmile

Yes sir! I had this happen with three tree stands last year. THe dang loggers "saved" them from getting stolen....yea right. Only got 2 of the three, they said they never saw a third one. Thieves!

Isn't it nice for you to find out about your fellow "sportsmen"? It takes all kinds to make the world go around and there is no stopping what goes on. It would be nice if you could take the law into your own hands and do what you are thinking about doing but then you would be as bad as "them". There is no answer that i know of.

Glad you got it back.  I was hoping that you were going to tell us that the thief"s ugly mug was on the footage.

I bet it was...That is mosy likely why there were no pics.</p>

It really is bad when a fellow "So-called Sportsman" resorts to stealing your hunting and/or fishing equipment.  Accidents need to happen more often to a few.

My camera is locked to a the tree and the only way to get it off is bolt cutters. I'm not sure what brand you have but most can be secured. But I guess if somebody wants it bad enough they will get it! Glad you recovered it.
