I just tried hooking my boat up. Everything was working fine but I noticed the lights were flickering a bit. I found a loose ground connection at the hitch. Tightened it down and then all the lights went out. I noticed my left brake light on the truck went out as well. Now I can't get anything on the trailer to light up. I respliced all connections and put a new connector on the ground wire. Any thoughts? emoScratch

its possible.. but you said the left taillight quit working also why i thought fuse.. usually if something works fine then just stops working it is a fuse..check the fuse for taillights and brakelights and its possible one of the fuses is inside your engine in the box there.. if it is a factory plug in could be a fuse under the truck by the connector..

im sure someone else will chime in but 95% of time if it just stops like you are saying its a fuse or a disconnected wire..

and by the way Trailer Lights Suck hah mine never work all the time.. and even when i had my brand new boat years ago the trailer lights always gave me fits..I remember driving home many late nights with no lights on trailer just hoping to not be pulled over

Thanks for the help fellers....pulled the driver's side taillamp fuse out and it's broken in the middle. Hopefully that'll fix my trailer lighting too. Off to Walmart I go... emoGrouphug
