Last couple times after trailering boat noticed the running lights (rear and side) are not working on trailer. The brake and turn signals work fine. After a few hours all lights works. Any suggestions on what might be wrong and what I can do to correct. Thanks for any suggestions.

Check the white ground wire. Sounds like its not getting a good connection then take a look at the connectors on the red and black (or brown wire) Could just be a bad bulb too. </p>

If it starts working after a while, then you're getting water somewhere you aint supposed to and it works only after drying out. Check da bulbs first, water shouldn't affect a ground wire, usually if it's loose lights will flicker as you go down the road. I fight this stuff all the time, but I could be wrong. Good luck.

Most likely ground related as said.

Many side or marker lights don't have a ground wire. They ground through the screw or bolt that attaches them to the frame.

Remove the lens, If there is no separate ground wire (it should be white) remove the light, clean the ground strap under the attachment screw head, install a new plated screw, (one side up if the hole is a loose fit). I prefer self drilling screws.
