Has anyone ever converted a Custom Line trailer to have a brake-a-way tongue? I have bought a used Bullet boat with a straight hitch and the trailer is to long to fit in my garage. Will go in but with very little room left. 2 inches maybe. Dual axle trailer will not turn sideways in my garage to allow for more room. I have been told there is a kit for the conversion.

Personally, I cant stand those bolt on models. Too much there to get loose and cause a HUGE problem.

A welded version is the way to go if welded right. That bullet has a 4x3 11 gauge tongue. I have kits and could sell it through a dealer. Bracing needs to be on the inside of the tongue wall. Simple 1/4" bar stock around 3-4 inches will do it in each corner.
