I'm in need of new trailer tires. I currently have 13" on the trailer. Is there a huge difference in using 12" tires in place of the 13" or should I stick with what's on there?

not a lot o diff, they will just rotate faster & have more revolutions per mile...Changing wheels also???.......... emoGeezer emoUSA

If your trailer has fenders that were set up for 13's, it may not look quite right. Trailer should be slightly lower and than can be either positive or negative. Bigger wheels and tires do better on longer trips, due to the increased revoutions the smaller ones are making. Increased revs naturally shorten bearing life. If you do short hauls, I see no problem with the 12's

Running short trips on 12" tires is okay, I wouldn't want to run down the interstate at 70 miles an hour on 12's for very long. Tire temps as well as bearing temps would be greatly increased.
