Does anyone know where I can get wheel bearings replaced on a boat trailer? I have the oil encapsulated bearings.
My trailer is 16 years old and I don't want to risk burning up a bearing on the hwy.

My Ranger trailer had odd size bearings. They weren't the oil bath but only place I found the right size was Northern Tool.

Swapping the entire hub is super easy. That way you will have all new bearings, perfectly installed. I got hubs with a grease fitting on the back. I pull a rubber cab on the front and pump grease from the back and stop when the grease runs clean. Make sure you use the red grease. I spend more time with trailer issues than boat issues, it seems.

anyone in Cleveland area can call National Trailer Service on Benton Pike. I saw them working on several bass boat trailers a few weeks ago.
