I've been trying to get Kevin to post this --

The tail light wiring broke on the trailer about 3 feet from the plug-in to the truck. It appears that the rest of wiring is otherwise intact. Does WalMart (or somebody) sell any kind of wiring kit with the plug that can just be spliced together? Or would it be best to replace the whole thing?

This seems like a do-it-yourself project, but if not is there someone you'd recommend?

well if it just broke at the plug in for the truck u can get the plugs at wal mart for maybe 10 dollers or any car parts store if its just broke at the plug just try to replace the plug and see if that does it befor u wire the whole tralier.........JUST MY 2 CENTS

it should be a do it yourself job you can get the plugs at wal mart or any where like that have kevin give me a shout and i will help you do it

Get some butt splices and a crimping tool and fix the wiring in a few minutes, no need to buy a new plug.
